SEC's Updated Rulemaking Agenda Reflects New Administration Priorities

The SEC's updated regulatory agenda (i.e., Reg-Flex agenda), released yesterday, reflects - at least in part - the new administration's regulatory reform and capital formation objectives.

Among the noteworthy rulemakings eliminated ("Out") and retained ("Still In") from the SEC's Fall 2016 agenda are these:

  • Universal Proxy
  • Corporate Board Diversity
  • Clawbacks
  • Pay for Performance
  • Hedging
