Although directed at Nasdaq companies, this timely new Nasdaq Governance Clearinghouse post: "Five Steps to Upgrade Your Board Evaluation" is equally applicable to all public companies - many of which are seeking to enhance their board and director evaluation processes in the context of investor expectations that increasingly call for more robust processes and related transparency. The post's author, Beverly Behan, recently authored "Board and Director Evaluations in the 21st Century: A Practical Guide for Governance Committees," which we reported on in a prior Society Alert here (see: "Board & Director Evaluations: Comprehensive Practical Guidance").
