ISS announced that its window for companies to review and submit changes to their self-selected peer group for their 2019 proxies, for annual meetings to be held between February 1 and September 15, 2019, will be open from Monday, November 19th through Friday, December 7th. ISS uses the company's self-selected peer group to inform (but not determine) its own peer group selection for each company. For those companies that don't submit changes, ISS will use the company's most recent proxy filing peer group.
Access additional information on the ISS peer submission process here, and associated FAQs here. We have an abundance of ISS-related resources on our Proxy Advisors topical page here.
The ISS 2019 policy updates are expected to be released the latter part of November.
