SEC Issues Proxy Advisor-Related Guidance

Further to last week's post, the SEC approved today (on a 3 - 2 vote, with Commissioners Jackson and Lee opposed) an Interpretation and Guidance Regarding the Applicability of the Proxy Rules to Proxy Voting Advice and Guidance Regarding Proxy Voting Responsibilities of Investment Advisers.
