In "Clarity on Cybesecurity," SquareWell Partners provides an overview of major institutional investors' posture on portfolio company cybersecurity practices - specifically, whether cybersecurity is integrated into the investors' proxy voting policies, position papers, and/or engagement approaches. The paper includes a list of recommended questions for investors to ask companies about their cybersecurity practices along multiple dimensions including, e.g., senior management and board responsibility/accountability, reporting to the board, policy disclosure, and employee training.
