Address These Pandemic-Triggered Information Security Practices

EY's "Cybersecurity risk oversight in a new work environment" presents a sobering but realistic one-page checklist of questions concerning information security practices that boards and management should consider in the COVID-19 context. The questions address practices or safeguards that may be compromised because of remote working arrangements, use of new/different technology and equipment, lack of training, workforce furloughs and layoffs, and other likely unplanned pandemic-triggered practices with a view toward identifying and addressing vulnerabilities to the extent feasible.
