Glass Lewis supplemented its updated approach to virtual meetings (reported on here) with additional process and procedure recommendations for companies, accompanied by examples of 2020 meetings that Glass Lewis believes effectively demonstrated a focus on the opportunity for meaningful shareholder participation. The supplementary guidance includes questions for companies to ask that address planning considerations generally on meeting format, shareholder attendance and participation, in-person attendance by directors and officers, and shareholder sentiment.
