The Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures launched “TCFD Workshops in a Box,” which consists of these five introductory-level presentations aimed at facilitating adoption and implementation of the four TCFD recommendations:
- Session 1 - Fundamentals & TCFD Overview: provides an introduction to the TCFD and an overview of the four TCFD recommendations for climate-related financial disclosure
- Session 2 - Governance: describes the Governance recommendation and considerations for companies in disclosing their governance around climate-related risks and opportunities
- Session 3 – Strategy: describes the Strategy recommendation and considerations for companies in disclosing the actual and potential impacts of climate-related risks and opportunities on their businesses, strategies, and financial planning
- Session 4 – Risk Management: describes the Risk Management recommendation and considerations for companies in disclosing the processes by which they identify, assess, and manage their climate-related risks.
- Session 5 – Metrics & Targets: describes the Metrics & Targets recommendation and considerations for companies in disclosing the metrics and targets they use to assess and manage relevant climate-related risks and opportunities.
Each of the recommendation-specific “modules” includes relevant disclosure examples from companies’ sustainability or other public reports.
