Further to our recent reports: “Society Submits Comment Letter on EDGAR Next” and “Society Members Meet with the SEC Staff on Proposed EDGAR Changes,” the SEC adopted rule and form amendments to effect the EDGAR Next initiative, accompanied by the launch on September 30 of a publicly accessible beta software environment for filer testing and feedback that is planned to remain open through December 19, 2025.
The new EDGAR Filer Management website and EDGAR dashboard go live March 24, 2025, with compliance required by September 15, 2025. The transition steps and timeline, as well as currently scheduled EDGAR Business Office (EBO) support activities and links to additional resources, are further detailed here.
