Further to our August 2023 report: “IAASB Launches Consultation on Sustainability Assurance Standard,” the IAASB announced the approval of its proposed sustainability assurance standard (ISSA 5000), subject to certification by the Public Interest Oversight Board, with expected publication by year-end.
