This “2025 DEI Benchmarking Study: How Organizations are Evolving in the Face of a Changing Landscape” from Paradigm reveals how the DEI landscape is changing based on a March 2025 survey of senior leaders from 443 organizations across industries and company sizes. The following indicates the prevalence among companies overall as compared to companies with more than 10,000 employees.

Other noteworthy takeaways include:

  • Nearly 40% of companies are changing their “DEI” nomenclature.
  • Nearly 60% of federal contractors vs. 26% of non-contractors reported stopping at least one inclusion-related effort.
  • Well over half of companies with more than 10,000 employees noted discontinuing at least one inclusion-related effort compared to 21% of companies with ≤200 employees.
