Develop world class processes for executive and staff interactions with the board, including:
- Agenda planning;
- Processes for interim communications with board and organization of advance materials;
- Development of templates for board presentations; and
- Assisting general counsel and corporate secretaries coordinate in times of crisis.
Understand and communicate with institutional investors, including:
- Designing investor engagement programs;
- Introduction of boards and management to key decision makers at institutional investors and governance thought leaders;
- Identifying the resources that will help teams stay up-to-date with their investors' priorities; and
- Editing CD&A, MD&A and other disclosures to ensure information critical to investors' understanding is easy for them to locate.
