Resource Extraction Disclosure Rule Heads Toward Repeal

Further to last Wednesday's report on the House's vote to repeal the SEC's Dodd-Frank-mandated resource extraction disclosure rule by joint resolution of disapproval under the Congressional Review Act, the Senate approved the repeal on Friday by a 54-47 vote. Next step: The bill is expected to be signed by President Trump.
