ISS 2018 Policy Survey Covers Pay Ratio, Virtual Meetings, Board Gender Diversity & More!

As reported in today's Society Alert, ISS just launched its 2018 Annual Policy Survey (download here).

The Survey is being conducted in two parts: (i) an initial, high-level survey covering certain so-called "fundamental and high-profile topics" including the one-share, one-vote principle, board gender diversity, virtual meetings, and pay ratio disclosures, which will close on August 31st; and (ii) a follow-on and more expansive portion of the survey that reportedly can be accessed at the end of the initial survey, which allows respondents to drill down into key issues by market and region, as well as by topics (e.g., responsible investment, takeover defenses, compensation). The second part of the survey will remain open until October 6th.

Society members are strongly encouraged to participate in this survey.
