The newly-released 2018 Group Five Proxy Solicitor Benchmarking Study benchmarks corporate issuer satisfaction with leading proxy solicitation firms across numerous aspects of service based on feedback from 239 US public companies. According to the Summary Report, based on those proxy solicitors that received 30 or more responses (Alliance Advisors, DF King & Co, Georgeson, and Morrow Sodali), Alliance Advisors is the only firm that received a 100% satisfaction rating for all of the service aspects surveyed. Notably, these include the ability to forecast results and obtain required votes; knowledge of and assistance in negotiating with proxy advisory firms, and forecasting proxy advisory firm recommendations; and compensation and governance matters expertise.
Overall satisfaction levels with the other firms were also quite high - with ratings of 97%, 90%, and 90% for Morrow Sodali, DF King, and Georgeson, respectively.
