Pay Ratio Year Two: Some Companies Discussing Year-Over-Year

Based on its review of 704 proxy filings season-to-date, Pearl Meyer reported a median pay ratio of 87 and median employee pay (at the 50th percentile) of $63,316. No companies discussed their CEO pay ratio against peer companies and/or industry norms; however, 16% included discussion about their CEO pay ratio this year compared to last year. Very few companies reported a change in CACM methodology.
