Donnelley/DFIN pre-released the ESG/Human Capital Management section of its always eagerly awaited annual "Guide to Effective Proxies" so that companies could begin benchmarking their disclosures or disclosure approach against their peers sufficiently in advance of the 2020 proxy season. The searchable, interactive guide includes numerous sample disclosures on the most commonly-addressed and hot sustainability topics - CSR, ESG, corporate culture, employee protections, D&I, health & safety, employee engagement - as well as the ability to access full proxies (for contextual purposes) with one easy click.
We will report on the full Guide, which typically includes sample text and graphics disclosures on such additional topics as board diversity, board skills matrices, board and director evaluations, director recruitment and succession, and risk oversight, when it publishes later this month.
