Equilar's "Disclosure Watch: Telling Your ESG Story" identifies recent proxy disclosure examples addressing a range of topics that could assist other companies seeking current benchmarking examples, as follows:

- Kilroy Realty Corporation (E&S linked pay metrics) - As was the case in 2019, included an ESG-focused category in the 2020 annual cash incentive program metrics with expanded goals including establishment of carbon-neutral operations by the end of 2020, achievement of LEED certifications on new development, annual progress on human capital initiatives (including employee engagement, talent development and diversity), and implementation and efficacy of in-season and off-season stockholder outreach.
- Ventas, Inc. (workforce diversity pay metric) - Added to 2020 performance-based RSUs a quantitative "Gender Balance" metric focused on improving the company’s representation of women employees at 6.9% weighting for the CEO and 6% weighting for all other NEOs to incent ESG performance
