The NYC Office of the Comptroller reiterated the achievements of its 2019-launched Boardroom Accountability Project 3.0 board and CEO diversity campaign (reported on here), and revealed how the balance of its shareholder proposals that had not yet been voted as of its April release (reported on here) have played out. In total, the Office reportedly negotiated board & CEO diversity search policies with 14 companies, including many explicitly requiring board-retained search firms to include diverse individuals in the candidate pool.
