Back to the Boardroom?

According to PwC’s recent survey of 160 directors on the post-COVID boardroom:

  • 43% of directors indicated they had already resumed in-person board meetings or would do so in the second quarter of 2021; about 37% indicated they will resume in the third quarter. 
  • More than half of respondents said that some of their future board and committee meetings will be virtual, and more than one-third of respondents said that their directors will have more flexibility based on their preferences, as shown here:

The data, which were incorporated into a broader presentation for the Society’s National Conference session last week: “Time to Get Back into the Physical Boardroom?”, were accompanied by the results of a Society member survey conducted in April, which we previously reported on here.
