This new publication: “Enhancing Disclosure Controls and Procedures Relating to Voluntary Environmental and Social Disclosures” from Skadden Arps and the Society is aimed at informing companies about the benefits of establishing and maintaining robust Disclosure Controls & Procedures (DC&P) for voluntary environmental and social disclosures, the risks of not doing so, and practical considerations for implementing new or adapting existing DC&P to such disclosures. The guidance was released in conjunction with the “Environmental & Social Disclosure Practices & Considerations Overview” session at the Society’s National Conference last week.
