This report: “2023 GCs and ESG: Practices, Priorities and Perspectives” from Morrison & Foester and Corporate Counsel updates last year’s inaugural survey of in-house lawyers, aimed at understanding how and to what extent the legal department is involved in ESG. The 86 respondents consisted primarily of private company (51%) and public company (41%) GCs, CLOs, and other in-house counsel within large legal departments (≥20 lawyers) at Fortune 100 companies.
