The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has announced that it will consider final cybersecurity disclosure rules at an open meeting on July 26 at 10 am ET.
The Society submitted comment letters in May 2022 and August 2022 in response to the SEC's proposed rules, which would include new Form 8-K incident reporting requirements and additional disclosures related to management and board oversight of cybersecurity risks.
