The SEC announced its hosting of an executive compensation disclosure public roundtable on June 26, 2025. The roundtable will be held at the SEC’s headquarters in Washington DC, live streamed, and recorded for later viewing. According to an accompanying statement from SEC Chair Paul Atkins, staff has been asked to consider a series of questions in developing the agenda that address:

• The executive compensation decision-making process and associated materiality of executive compensation information to investors
• Executive compensation disclosure requirements in practice relative to intended objectives, cost effectiveness, and materiality.
• Particular hot topics including pay-versus-performance disclosure, clawback listing standard requirements, and the 2006 executive perk disclosure standard (including executive security).
