Numerous sources reported on SEC Chair Atkins’ support of the SEC revisiting its rules regarding quarterly reporting in response to President Trump’s recent social media post. The Society (and numerous others) submitted a comment letter on this topic in April 2019 in response to the SEC’s December 2018 Request for Comment on Earnings Releases and Quarterly Reports (we reported on here) and expects to engage in any further rulemaking on this topic.
