The TNFD released guidance on nature in transition planning that addresses, among other things, what transition plans are and what incorporating nature into transition plans entails, how organizations can incorporate nature into their transition plans, and how information about nature transition plans can be disclosed in a manner that provides investors with information they seek to finance the transition to a net-zero and nature-positive future aligned with global policy goals. The guidance reportedly builds on familiar conceptual foundations and frameworks from net-zero transition planning where relevant.
