Further to last week’s report on the provisional terms of the EU Council/Parliament agreement on the CSRD and CS3D, this memo from Freshfields, who provided strategic guidance to the Society throughout the Omnibus I Simplification process that enabled us to meaningfully weigh in at key junctures, outlines key terms of the text that were agreed upon last week and in yesterday’s full Parliament vote. Next steps: formal approval by the Council, which is expected to be a formality.
