Semler Brossy’s “2025 Say on Pay + Proxy Vote Results” reported a vote support swing of 23% and 27% for Russell 3000 and S&P 500 companies, respectively, depending on whether ISS recommended a vote “For” or” Against” companies’ Say on Pay, as shown here:
ISS “Against” recommendations increased from 11.2% to 11.5% season-over-season for the Russell 3000, and from 8.0% to 9.0% season-over-season for the S&P 500.
