Plurality Voting

Ready
The most common practice in an election for directors for publicly traded companies is that those directors who receive the most votes for the number of open positions will be elected. For example, if seven candidates are running for seven open board positions, those candidates who receive the most number of votes will be elected - meaning all seven will be elected even if each candidate only receives one affirmative vote. See Majority Voting.
