Welcome to the Securities Law Committee Community!
This community is accessible to all Society members on the Securities Law Committee, which serves as the principal member forum to influence the development of federal and state securities laws and regulations by analyzing proposed securities legislation or SEC rule changes and interpretations, by drafting and submitting comment letters on issues of significance to public companies, and by meeting at least annually with the SEC staff to discuss the Society’s views on regulatory matters and operational issues. The committee also prepares benchmarking data and reports on disclosure practices.
