Please join us on Monday, February 23rd from 1PM to 2PM (Eastern) when the Society will host a virtual meeting on the Role of States in Shareholder Proposals as part of the State Corporate Law Group.
This meeting will consider the potential impacts on states and corporations if Rule 14a-8 were to be modified or rescinded.
We will pick up the discussion from December's Kickoff meeting where we started to consider, among other items:
1) What does state law deem as a proper proposal?2) What should ownership and eligibility thresholds be to submit a shareholder proposal?3) A working draft of possible reforms.
