Timothy Brown, KPMG, Partner

Timothy Brown is an Audit Partner in KPMG LLP's Department of Professional Practice (DPP) where he serves as the topic team leader of the SEC Regulatory Matters team. Tim has 26 years of experience auditing registrants and serving in a variety of capacities for two firms' national offices. Tim advises companies and engagement teams on various aspects of SEC regulations and reporting matters, as well as audit and attest reporting matters. He is responsible for monitoring emerging SEC rules and guidance to provide interpretations both internally and externally. Tim is currently a member of the Center for Audit Quality's SEC Regulations Committee and its Audit Reporting Task Force. He is a former chair of the CAQ's International Practices Task Force. Earlier in his career, Tim led audits of large international reporting companies in the manufacturing and healthcare industries.

Andrew Dean, Weil, Partner

Andrew Dean is a partner in Weil’s Securities Litigation and White Collar Defense, Regulatory, and Investigations practices, and a former senior SEC Enforcement leader. Maggi Madden is Pfizer’s Corporate Secretary and Chief Governance Counsel. She leads Pfizer’s Corporate Governance department--working with Pfizer investors on a variety of governance issues to facilitate an open dialogue between the Company and its shareholders. Maggi works closely with the CEO and Chairman of the Board, General Counsel and other senior leadership, on SEC and NYSE matters, emerging trends and practices in corporate governance and board-related issues. A significant portion of Maggi’s duties also include working with the Board of Directors at, and in preparation for, Board meetings, several meetings for Board Committees. Maggi also leads the Division’s Employment Law Group, is a member of the Legal Division Executive Team and co-leads the Division’s Equity and Inclusion Committee.
