Not Receiving the Society Alert?

If you are not receiving our weekly e-newsletter, the Society Alert, we recommend the following:

  1. Check your spam filter/junk folder.
  2. Make these email addresses - content@societycorpgov.org and society@societycorpgov.org - friendly.
  3. Check with your IT department to see if any security changes have been made.
  4. If your IT department asks if our emails are securely sent or encrypted, our email platform partner provided us with this detail –
    "We only send using TLS if the receiving system says we should; once they have the message, nothing we do would keep it encrypted for the filter to have trouble with. Our use of opportunistic TLS hasn’t changed in some time." 
    (TLS stands for Transport Layer Security as an FYI and another detail to share with your IT department).
