Cybersecurity: Balancing Risk & Business Continuity

The World Economic Forum's "Cybersecurity Leadership Principles: Lessons Learnt During the COVID-19 Pandemic to Prepare for the New Normal " identifies a number of factors (some of which are not readily apparent) contributing to the current heightened cyber risk environment and suggests ways in which the objectives of cybersecurity and business continuity can be balanced and attained as companies shift toward a "new normal" characterized by remote working conditions that are likely to outlast the pandemic. Directed at CISOs and/or similar management positions, the five principles serve as a framework for effective cyber risk management in pandemic and post-pandemic conditions.
