SEC Chair Clayton announced that today (December 23) was his last day at the SEC. The announcement includes the text of his letter to President Trump. As was the case with former Corp Fin Director Bill Hinman, who departed the SEC earlier this month, Chair Clayton's efforts were very much appreciated by the corporate issuer community.
