According to JUST Capital, as of September 2021, nearly 11% of the 954 Russell 1000 (104 companies) companies it evaluated in its 2022 Ranking of America's Most JUST Companies disclosed either their EE0-1 report or the type of intersectional workforce gender, race, and ethnicity data that can be derived from an EEO-1 report, compared to 6% of the 931 companies it evaluated that disclosed this data as of mid-January 2021, and compared to 4% that made this disclosure as of September 2020. Such detailed disclosure (which JUST Capital describes as the “gold standard”) is most prevalent among the Technology and Financial sector companies.
An additional 44% of companies provided some workforce race and ethnicity data disclosure, either detailed race/ethnicity data (24%) or white vs. non-white data (20%), as of September 2021. This compares to 13% of companies that disclosed detailed race/ethnicity data, and 13% that disclosed white vs. non-white data, as of January 2021.

The report depicts the type of disclosure and change in disclosure rate by industry and includes a table that shows the type of disclosure by company with a link to the data source.
