Further to our recent report: “Standards Boards Launch Integrated Sustainability Assurance Resources,” the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) and the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA) jointly released frequently asked questions to support the implementation of their new sustainability assurance standards. The IESBA also released Staff Questions and Answers focused on ethics and independence considerations for practitioners performing sustainability assurance engagements.
