We are looking forward to hosting you at the Society’s upcoming Virtual National Conference - Vision 2020: Governance Elevated.

Shifting gears, we are now fully immersed in creating a dynamic virtual experience for our members. As an attendee you can expect the same great content that we were set to deliver in Colorado Springs. We have structured the July virtual experience for live and on-demand viewing so you can decide which best meets your professional and personal needs.

Now more than ever, businesses need to be prepared to address corporate governance issues with precision and focus. The importance of corporate governance continues to rise and change, and as we have experienced over the first few months of 2020 the new decade will bring new challenges. Asset owners, asset managers, retail shareholders, activists, employees, customers and private equity owners all have a view about what companies should do. The National Conference program will give you strategies and tactics to help manage your constituents and elevate your value in both large and small ways.

Who should attend?

Corporate secretaries, general counsels, outside counsel and other corporate governance professionals at public and private companies of all sizes, as well as other constituents who operate in or provide services and tools to such companies. Sessions are shaped to maximize educational opportunities and related professional credits, such as CLE.

How will the National Conference virtual experience work?

Live Sessions from Tuesday, July 7 – Friday, July 10, 2020, 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm EDT daily

More than 20 sessions will be offered including general session topics, Ethics for all attendees as well as breakout tracks for large-cap and small- and mid-cap companies and private companies too!

Over 65 speakers share insights and best practices to help you elevate your organization

All sessions include Q&A for you to ask your questions

Online – you can join from anywhere, as-long-as you have internet access. No travel needed!

All sessions will be recorded and available on-demand until September 30, 2020

CLE will be offered for the live program and on-demand viewing until July 31, 2020. There are specific participation instructions for virtual CLE that the Society will follow. The Society does not guarantee the number of CLE/CE credits that will be received. The conference will also be eligible for CCGP credits.

Will I be able to visit with exhibitors?

The virtual conference will include a virtual Exhibit Hall that you will be able to visit at any time over the four days and on-demand until September 30, 2020. We encourage you to interact with the exhibitors, sponsors and organizational partners throughout the virtual experience.

What to wear? Have fun with it!

We want you to embrace the virtual experience. Feel free to wear whatever you want to attend any portion of the Vision 2020: Governance Elevated program. In fact, get comfortable wherever you log in from and if you are lucky enough you can log in from your traditional work office!

Continuing Legal Education credits

Attendees may be able to earn CLE for live and on-demand programs through July 31, 2020. Attendees must show engagement and provide verification of attendance.

The Society has contracted with CEU Institute to manage the CLE applications to all states requested. Be sure to list the state(s) for which you want CLE credit following each session. The conference is also often eligible for paralegal and CCGP credits. The Society does not guarantee the number of CLE/CE credits that will be received.
